About
MCQ Views & Voices is an initiative of the community organization CASE, which is active in the Mauricie-Centre-du-Québec region. This project is supported by funds from the Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québecois d’expression anglaise, and also from the Department of Canadian Heritage.
With the involvement of community members, and through blog posts and podcast episodes, MCQ Views & Voices aims to highlight the diversity of the English-speaking population by sharing interesting stories by and for people with a connection to the area. Blog posts and podcasts explore local history and heritage; cultural, leisure and sports activities; bilingualism, and much more!
Our Contributors
Hello, my name is Corinne Deschamps. I am 12 years old and I am a very passionate art student. I love spending most of my time reading and drawing. My goal in writing these book reviews is mostly to share my passion with others and help them discover new things. I hope they like my reviews and I am grateful to my grade 6 teacher, Vicky Morel, for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Without her doing that, the things I did would never have been achieved.
Eleonore Guité is CASE’s Project Agent for Culture and Heritage for the MCQ region. She loves to share her passion for the arts and history by getting people socially involved.
Julie Miller is CASE’s Cultural and Heritage Coordinator. She loves music, gardening, reading and getting to know some of the interesting people who live in the MCQ region.
Roger Narbonne is 12 years old and is starting high school in the fall of 2022. His favorite sports are hockey and lacrosse and he likes to fish. His favorite subject in school is math but he also admires science.
